1587 Prime is an appellation formed from the digits of both of their jerseys.
Former colleagues on the field, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are now business partners in the restaurant industry.
The prominent players of the Kansas City Chiefs announced on Thursday that they will co-own and operate the 1587 Prime steakhouse. Their given moniker is an amalgamation of their respective jersey numbers.
The Loews Kansas City Hotel will house the new enterprise, which is billed as the “ultimate experiential dining destination.” Noble 33, a global hospitality organization, is collaborating with the athletes to realize 1587 Prime. The anticipated opening date is early 2025.
“We’re excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own Kansas City,” Kelce stated in a prepared statement.
The enormous contemporary steakhouse will be two stories and 10,000 square feet in size. In addition to featuring an impressive meat exhibit, several private dining rooms, and a state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen, 1587 Prime will incorporate additional “hyper-subtle nods” to the football accomplishments of Patrick Mahomes and Kelce.

Mahomes continued, “Travis and I have become regular patrons of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities; therefore, it was only fitting that we bring something unique to our hometown of Kansas City.”
Kelce traveled to New York City in September to visit the MĖdüzı Mediterrania of the ensemble. Additionally, Mahomes and Kelce have both been to Toca Madera in Las Vegas.
