Over the weekend, Oprah Winfrey took a trip to beautiful St. Barts, Florida, to celebrate her 65th birthday.

The multibillionaire birthday girl left California on Monday and made her way to the island nation, where she and her closest friend Gayle King were invited to stay on David Geffen’s megayacht. Geffen is a close friend and frequent travel companion.

King’s son Will Bumpus and another young guy boarded the $300 million Rising Sun along with the two. Following supper and cake, the latter two spent the evening viewing the upcoming HBO documentary Leaving Neverland.

King posted pictures from the event to social media along with the message, “Happy birthday, DEAR @Oprah! I asked for the cake I like, even though she did not want a birthday cake!” Delicious and ideal for the birthday girl!

 

The group’s visit was short; they docked in Gustavia for two days before leaving the tropical paradise by jet on Wednesday early.
