Travis Kelce’s pre-game workout at Allegiant Stadium for the 2024 Super Bowl had already garnered significant attention prior to his appearance on the field.
The 34-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs honored his pledge to bring a noteworthy ensemble to Las Vegas; the occasion also transpired to be a collaboration with high fashion. Kelce collaborated with designer Mike Amiri to create an iridescent black suit reminiscent of contemporary Elvis Presley.
On a new episode of their New Heights podcast that was published on February 14, Jason Kelce, 36, remarked of his brother’s attire, “It appears that you drew inspiration from the Las Vegas backdrop.” In light of the fact that Travis chose a sequined all-black Amiri suit, a coordinating black T-shirt, pointed-toe boots, and a large handbag, the Philadelphia Eagles center is correct.
Travis did hint on The Pat McAfee Show prior to his February 11 match against the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas that his style would be influenced by Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley. Travis continued his podcast by describing the origin of the appearance. “At the time, I didn’t want to give the Super Bowl ‘suit’ an excessive amount of consideration. In fact, we had previously met in Las Vegas during the summer. “It made perfect sense,” he explained, adding that he had preferred an American designer, such as Amiri, who was born in Los Angeles.
The NFL star further stated of the designer, “He is currently one of the best out there, and I obtained every size from him; he made the process easy for me.”
Travis fit effortlessly into the bespoke design. “Baby, it fit you like a glove and it worked.” Likewise, it was comfortable. He transformed me into a black disco orb as he led me into the club. “Gasping baby.” Jason, whose wife Kylie Kelce and he were dressed in red-and-yellow overalls, was especially impressed by the caliber of Amiri’s attire. “Johnny Cash was snatched up,” was his description of his sibling.
He was not, however, the only individual to be impressed by Travis’s aesthetic. The Chiefs celebrated their fourth Super Bowl victory and another Vince Lombardi Trophy victory with their 34-year-old companion Taylor Swift at XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas, where the “Karma” singer wore half of her boyfriend’s suit.
The fourteen-time Grammy winner was spotted arriving at the celebratory blowout in photographs featuring the pair. She wore Travis’ blazer and an all-black ensemble consisting of a Dion Lee crochet corset, $695 crystal-slit denim from AREA, and boots bearing Travis’ jersey number, “87.” The entire ensemble coordinated well with the “87”-inspired accessories of the other pop star, including the bespoke #87 Judith Leiber football-shaped crystal purse, which was obtained from the same brand from which Hunt obtained her microphone-shaped bag, which cost nearly $5,000.
