Brittany Mahomes Shares the Surprising Reason Behind Choosing Bronze and Sterling for Named Her Kids with NFL Star Husband Patrick

STERLING and Bronze may not be the first names that come to mind when most new parents contemplate them, but they have a rather endearing history for the Mahomes.

Bronze, the most recent addition to the family of six (including canines), was delivered on November 28 at a weight of 7 pounds and 8 ounces.

Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III is the firstborn child of Patrick, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, and his spouse Brittany.

Pat Mahomes, his grandfather, was a former pitcher in Major League Baseball.

Sister Sterling Skye Mahomes, who was born on February 20 of last year, is joined by Bronze.

Why are these titles then?

Brittany explained after the birth of Sterling a year ago that her moniker originated with their cherished dogs.

Brittany responded to inquiries through her Instagram story as follows: “When we first acquired Silver (one of their dogs), we struggled to come up with a moniker that complemented Steel (their other dog).

“When we considered Sterling, I declined; in fact, I intend to give Sterling to my daughter when the time comes.”

“Consequently, we developed the name Silver for our canine.”

Furthermore, it appears that Bronze is the most recent member to adhere to this emerging familial custom.

Both Mahomes, who are 27 years old, appear to be enjoying life with their expanding family.

Brittany consistently shares photographs of her young family savoring activities such as vacations, Halloween, and Patrick’s games.
