Travis Kelce is honored to have Taylor Swift, his superstar fiancée, as her supporter.
Thursday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show featured Kelce, 34, discussing how the couple manages to maintain their privacy in the face of their celebrity status.
One of Kansas City’s most renowned tight ends remarked, “Isn’t it lovely, indeed? “I hope everyone understands that we’re just two people having fun and supporting one another, man.”
According to Kelce, “It’s nothing more than that, and how much the world wants to paint the picture and make us the enemy, we just have fun with it, and we enjoy every single bit of it.”
Kelce extolled about Swift’s ability to attend games despite her incredibly hectic schedule, the singer having become a celebrated member of Chiefs Kingdom due to her consistent attendance at games throughout the season.
“I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends,” explained Kelce. “It’s been nothing but a wonderful year, man.”
Kelce stated that he and Swift are cognizant of the NFL purists who criticize the singer’s pre-game coverage and that Swift “has always dealt with” comparable negativity.
Kelce dismissed the digital toxicity by stating, “We hear it, but we rarely discuss it; hateful comments are nothing to even consider or really bring up.”
Kelce reminisced that his NFL season with Swift was “an entirely different experience.” He described “every single day into work being followed by the paparazzi” and “everyone having my name on their talk show” as aspects of the media frenzy that he has adapted to while dating Swift.
“You know, it’s been a crazy, crazy ride that I could have never anticipated,” Kelce commented. “However, I am enjoying myself with it. Aside from the irate NFL fans who simply don’t want the Chiefs to win, the majority of the globe is enjoying themselves, he continued.
Kelce lamented that Swift and himself are “slowly” gaining the support of the doubters. “It is true that we are gradually bringing them closer.” “They are currently engaged in combat with it,” he quipped.
Swift accompanied him on the field after the Chiefs defeated the Eagles in Baltimore on Sunday to offer his congratulations; the two shared several tender moments.
Several passionate embraces were exchanged, and the NFL star was overheard proclaiming “I love you” amidst the festivities in Baltimore.
