Chester Bennington is deeply missed by his six children and widow, Talinda Bennington.
On July 20, 2017, the Linkin Park singer passed at the age of 41, and now, four years later, Talinda has shared a poignant Instagram photo in remembrance of her former spouse. She shared a photo of Chester beaming broadly at the camera.
“You always had a way to make us all laugh,” she began her tribute to her husband of 11 years. “You always made things better. And when you put this lettuce cup on your head to make us laugh because our dinner was taking so long, you made everything right again.”
Chester’s memory lives on via Talinda and their children, Tyler, 15, and the twins, Lily and Lila, who are nine years old. “I’m so glad the kids and I have so many photos and videos to remember you by,” the 44-year-old mother wrote. “We miss you every second of every day.”
Talinda became engaged again two years after Chester’s passing away, this time to Michael Friedman, a firefighter. However, their relationship was short-lived. Talinda filed for a divorce from Michael in January.
The model said in herhe post, “You were the best person I’ve ever known. Every day, I see you in our babies. Lily is your mini-me, with her stunning appearance and lovely voice. Tyler shares your wit, intellect, and physical appearance, as well as your fascination with figuring out space and time. And Lila has your heart of gold.”
She recalls Chester writing “hopes and dreams” for them when they were born. Talinda applauded how they’ve matured, stating, “God must have noticed what you wrote since they are truly everything you dreamed for. I know you see them. I would do anything to have you back so they could see you.
The model concluded her message by stating that they would mark Chester’s 4-year passing anniversary by watching family movies together.
Talinda said, “I love you.”
