In Venice, Wally introduces the wallywhy100 entry-level model.

At a special Ferretti Group pre-Christmas event hosted in Venice, the Italian shipyard Wally presented its new entry-level wallywhy100 model, making its debut along the city’s canals.

“A place where the canals run like veins carrying the lifeblood of the city, just like the saltwater that runs in the veins of everyone at Wally,” said Wally’s managing director, Stefano de Vivo, of the debut in Venice, calling it a “fitting location.”

With a length of 21.5 meters, the wallywhy100 shares the same design language as its larger sisters and is created by the same team as the wallwhy150 and wallwhy200. The Ferretti Group Engineering team collaborates with Wally to design the exterior, while Studio A. Vallicelli & C is in charge of the interiors.

According to de Vivo, the new model attempts to close a gap in the market for a conventionally elegant coupé with the bonus features of volume and comfort. “In 20 years, the industry will view the Wallywhy100 as a yacht that dared to be different,” he said.

The main deck, which extends from bow to stern and can be completely closed up or kept open for guests to utilize in all weather, is the focal point of the yacht’s design. The founder and main designer of Wally, Luca Bassani, stated: “The closed cockpit is pushed far forward to provide space for inside/outside living which gives thewallywhy100 an eye-catching, sleek but still aggressive look.”
