Travis Kelce, a two-time NFL Super Bowl champion, organized a massive festival in Kansas City on Friday night, and he invited musical superstars to perform for the boisterous audience.
At the inauguration of his “Kelce Jam” music and culinary festival, the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end shared the stage with Rick Ross and Machine Gun Kelly, among others.
.
Kelce began proceedings in grand fashion by strutting himself before more than 19,000 supporters and greeting them warmly while raising his 2023 Vince Lombardi Super Bowl trophy.
Kelce then entered “Beastie Boys” mode and, with MGK’s assistance, composed “Fight For Your Right,” the group’s 1986 success. Together, Kelce and MGK energized the audience by bouncing around on stage without missing a beat.
.
At one point, Kelce rose from the earth and extended an enormous embrace to MGK. They also performed the same song for the duration of their encore, which lasted nine minutes of intense energy.
Additionally, there were some tender instances. Two seven-year-old sisters were invited to the stage by MGK to assist him in performing “My Ex’s Best Friend.” In addition to signing their T-shirts, the musician did so while Kelce led the audience in chanting “MGK.”
.
Rick Ross subsequently had the opportunity to make an impact. The “Wingstop” franchise proprietor, a former high-profile record executive, presided over a chicken wing eating competition between two Chiefs supporters onstage. A man named Hayden Gillum was awarded the winning statue following a ninety-second feast on nineteen wings.
