DJ Khaled reportedly attended the funeral of Raul Conde of the group Terror Squad in Atlanta

Just over a week after the Terror Squad member’s death from a fatal heart attack at the age of 52, DJ Khaled and Fat Joe attended rapper Raul Conde’s funeral on Monday at a Coral Gables, Florida cemetery.


The 48-year-old DJ Khaled was dressed entirely in black, including a short-sleeved button-up shirt, black leggings, sneakers, and sunglasses. He was observed conversing with other mourners and sitting next to 53-year-old Fat Joe during the solemn events. 

According to a post DJ Khaled shared on Instagram, the funeral viewing was conducted at Van Orsdel Family Funeral Chapels in Coral Gables, and the burial was held at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn North in Miami. The picture was captioned “Love you, brother” by him.

Additionally, he shared a picture of a number of enormous flower tributes to Conde, one of which bore the Terror Squad’s initials, TS.

Producer Scott Storch, 49, and rapper Noreaga, 46, were among the other well-known figures there.

Hip-hop icons French Montana, DJ Khaled, and Fat Joe were among many who used social media to honor artist Raul Conde following the news of his passing on November 24. 

“How can a man love another man more than his biological family?” was my first thought. You are the most devoted person ever. Joe stated, “I love you with every fiber in my body. We did everything we dreamed of since we were little.”

Since its founding in 1998, Conde had been a part of Fat Joe’s Bronx-based rap group Terror Squad. 

I imagined that when we grew older, we would laugh as we reflected on the good times we shared. You were a gift from God, my brother, and I wish we could have one last conversation. No one understood me like you.

“My deepest sympathies to the CONDE FAMILY for granting us RAUL over the years. I promise that there will never be a time in my life when I won’t treasure and love every minute I’ve spent with RAUL,” the Lean Back rapper continued. 


Conde had been a member of Fat Joe's Bronx-based rap collective Terror Squad since it began in 1998


Former Love & Hip-Hop: New York star Erica Mena, who had a child named King with the deceased Terror Squad member, was also in grief for Conde. Mena shared a picture of Conde and their son together on her Instagram account. With a sad heart, her son, she captioned the photo. Life is really brief. Love your people, please.

Joe shared a ton of pictures in his condolences, showing how close the two had been all these years.

Conde was also well-known for his video directing skills; he directed the music video for both Take Me Home and Fat Joe’s crossover hit Lean Back. Conde also directed the music video for the song “Cupcakin” by Lupe Fiasco and MDMA.
