Taylor Swift might soon be donning a Kansas City Chiefs jersey in place of the Eagles T-shirt that is dangling from the entrance.
On Sunday, the self-described Philadelphia Eagles fan and pop star was observed rooting for Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce during the team’s game against the Chicago Bears, sparking dating rumors. Her support for Kelce sparked a media frenzy.
Despite the Chiefs’ 41-10 demolition of the Bears, Swift was the center of attention as the broadcast frequently shifted to her reactions during crucial moments of the game, such as when she appeared to exclaim “Let’s fucking go!” in response to Kelce’s touchdown. Amidst the ongoing speculation regarding a potential romantic connection between Swift and Kelce, the “Anti-Hero” singer established a close proximity with Donna, the mother of Kelce, throughout the game. Following their departure in the football player’s convertible, Swift and Kelce exchanged “Getaway Car”-related tweets.
Even the NFL’s official social media accounts participated, sharing clips of Swift’s reactions and a video of the two departing the stadium after the game via TikTok.
Although the Chiefs emerged victorious, Swift was the subject of considerable discussion at the team’s post-game conference, where reporters questioned the players regarding her attendance.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes remarked, “She is a pop star, a phenomenal singer, and exceptional in all that she does.” Mahomes further stated that Kelce informed him on Friday that she might be in attendance at the game. “I have yet to meet her, but if she ends up being with Travis, I suppose I will eventually have the opportunity to do so. “She seems like a good person; therefore, it is my sincere hope that we will cross paths in the future.”
Mahomes previously discussed in a field interview the significance of scoring a touchdown for Kelce in the presence of Swift in the audience. “I was informed that she was inside the residence… “I felt some pressure, so I knew I had to deliver it to Trav,” he explained.
