Inside the insane Padel Tennis court that is located on the 98-meter superyacht Aviva

The 98-meter motor yacht Aviva by Abeking & Rasmussen is without a question one of the most important yachts to come out in 2017. She is going to be one of the most recognizable boats of our time thanks to her strong hull lines, clear superstructure, and two-tone paint finish. One interesting thing about Aviva that hasn’t been looked into yet is her much-talked-about full-sized Padel Tennis court. up until now

The owner of Aviva is very passionate about golf, and it shows in the amount of room inside the boat that is just for this area. This is unique for a superyacht or anything that floats. The designers could have easily added a few high-end guest rooms to the inside, since the building is 20 meters long, 10 meters wide, and 6.65 meters high.

Based on what Reymond Langton Design says, this one-of-a-kind space is good for everyone living on board: “Not only does it change the owner’s lifestyle, but it also changes the crew’s because this yacht has the biggest gym ever.” The crew is welcome to play with the owner and other guests, and when the court isn’t being used for padel, the net can be taken down so the crew can play football or use other exercise equipment. After all, it is a sports hall.

The studio goes on to say that one of the hardest parts of the design was making sure that not only was the court of the highest quality, but that this one-of-a-kind arrangement wouldn’t affect any other rooms inside. “With a padel tennis court on a yacht, you might think that the layout, quality, or size of the court would be compromised in some way. But the owner is adamant that this is the best padel tennis court in the world, end of story!”

The huge interior (5,000 Gross Tonnes) gave the team a lot of room to meet all of the owner’s needs in a luxury setting that can’t be beat.

The outside has some interesting details, but what makes Aviva unique is her environmentally friendly drive system. When combined with an electric propulsion system, the ship’s unique hull shape makes it use a lot less fuel. Aviva can hit its top speed of 20 knots with much less power because her hull lines are smooth. It can also cruise at 11 knots using only electric power.

This past weekend, Aviva won a 2018 BOAT International Design & Innovation Award for her unique paddle tennis living area on board.
